Expanding our national network of support.

My Life My Choice is building a strong network of responsive providers in communities  across the country. We’ve developed training programs to make the maximum impact in the most cost-effective manner.

The difference between trained and untrained providers is tangible. We have trained more than 15,000 providers, law enforcement and allies to date. Over the next three years, we will train 10,000 more throughout the US.

Technical Consultation

Our expert staff are available for consultation in all our programs. Through more than 15 years of on-the-ground, pioneering experience, we have learned a number of valuable lessons that have emerged as best practices – for a onetime consultation or a full program replication, we can help.

Advocacy and Thought Leadership

My Life My Choice leverages authentic life experiences and expertise to participate passionately in public policy affecting victims' services and human trafficking. We work to educate a broad community of supporters and harness our collective outrage to fight exploitation.

Training For Impact

My Life My Choice offers introductory and advanced workshops about the sex industry and its devastating impact on lives and societies. Our goal is to increase victim identification and improve provider response to exploited youth. Law enforcement officers, child protective services workers, school personnel and medical providers are some of the professionals we’ve trained.

The Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Adolescent Girls:

Understanding and Responding to Victims

Every day, young people are deceived, manipulated, coerced, and forced into the commercial sex industry. This multi-billion dollar industry targets the most vulnerable individuals in our communities. The Understanding and Responding to Victims Training gives service providers, law enforcement, and community members the tools needed to better serve this marginalized population.

A Collaborative Training with Boston GLASS:

Preventing the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of GLBTQ Youth: A Module for GTSAs

This new one module curriculum training aims to support the exploration of the intersection between exploitation, gender identity and sexual orientation. As providers, we know that LGBTQ youth are at exponentially higher risk for exploitation due to many variables including, but not limited to homelessness, lack of family support and provider expertise in understanding the experience of LGBTQ youth and in general access to supportive services. Through this training, participants will receive a copy of the curriculum and posters to use in a one-hour session with youth.

A Collaborative Training with Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts:

Engaging Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth in Conversations about Sexual Health

Commercially sexually exploited youth experience extreme trauma. This can impact their ability to build healthy relationships and exercise their bodily autonomy within intimate relationships, whether they are still in or have left “the life” of commercial sexual exploitation. Further, victims of the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) often feel misunderstood in traditional sexual health education and outreach program settings.
